Deepthi Alapati, M.D. submitted a grant application entitled “Optimizing airway delivery of CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing reagents using non-viral vector” to the  American Thoracic Society Foundation.   The application was reviewed as outstanding with a score 1.7 out of 9. An unrestricted Pulmonary Research Grant of $40,000 was awarded for the funding period of 01/2020 – 12/2020.
